Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education
The Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) is a What Works Centre which aims to eliminate equality gaps in the higher education sector through evidence-informed practice.
Committed to the synthesis, generation and dissemination of high-quality evidence about effective practice in widening participation and student outcomes, TASO is an independent hub for higher education professionals to access leading research, toolkits, and evaluation techniques.
Established in Spring 2019, TASO was set up by a consortium of King’s College London, Nottingham Trent University and the Behavioural Insights Team before becoming independent in April 2021. TASO is funded by the Office for Students on an initial grant until 2023.
